Why the Southwest?

America, in her history, has seen Spiritual Awakenings that affected the entire world. The North, the South, and the Midwest have seen these great movements of the past because men were loyal to Bible Doctrine and they had compassion on the lost which they were called to reach. During these times, the spiritual condition of America was refaced and the Power and Presence of God was evident. It has been a long time since we have seen such movements of God, and it is obvious that we need such Power to sweep through our land.

Though America has seen these movements in her history in certain areas of our land, America has never seen such movements of God in the Southwest and Western parts of the country. Why is that? Because not many people are willing to go to areas such as the county of Taos, NM. By Faith, we are steeping out to the county of Taos to attempt something only God can bring, a Spiritual Awakening in the Southwest. As Jonathan Edwards prayed, “Give me New England” I am praying, “Give me the Southwest.”
