Greetings and God Bless. I apologize for missing our monthly prayer letter last month. We have a few major prayer requests for this month, and we ask that churches seek God on our behalf.

As many know, we are having our 1st Sunday service May 18th, so please pray that God would work. We have been handing out flyers, and our home church is bringing a group of families to help knock doors May 17th. We have a few families committed to come to our first service, but not as many as I would personally like to see come to our 1st service. I have found that in out town we talk with many family who are very close concerning religious beliefs, and they tend to shun outside views. That being said, most people are very friendly, yet they reject hearing a full presentation of the Gospel. Many people seem happy and interested in our church, so please pray that they would come and be saved under preaching. I know what Bible preaching did in my life, and I pray that it would do the same in the lives of those who live in Taos, NM.

Secondly, I am asking prayer and a possible love offering. While preaching at a church in Arizona, I came down with severe stomach pains. After preaching, the pains became stronger. At around 2:00 AM I awakened my wife and told her we need to go to the hospital. The nearest ER was over an hour away, but we went. The pains began to decrease around 5:00 AM, but I was still in the hospital for testing. At 11:00 AM that same morning I was told I had appendicitis, and was scheduled for an emergency operation in Tucson, AZ. Upon arrival I was sent to my room for an hour then prepared for surgery. The surgery was successful, and I was released the next day (5/2/08). This was a true miracle, as many appendixes rupture after 6 hours of infection, yet I went over 24 hours without my appendix rupturing. Praise God! I am writing for New Mexico, and will be returning home today. Between three chemical tests, an ambulance ride, and operation, I am unsure of the costs. Please pray and consider a love offering to cover our medical expenses, because we currently do not have insurance. I am not worried, because I have seen God work financial miracles in my life, and this is no exception to God. I know He is able to work a miracle in this situation.

Also, please continue to pray of our support and finances. I am still looking for a part time job. In a town of 8,000, with mainly tourists during winter, it is hard to find work that doesn’t require availability on Sundays and sinful entertainment. God has been faithful in providing our needs by giving side jobs in the graphic design area. Maybe, if you need some graphic design work, we can help.
