We are now living in the city that God has called our family to minister, Taos, NM. God has been good to us and has been providing our needs. We have a home that we are renting for $300/ mo, enough fire wood to last the winter (we have 5 inches of snow!), and so much more! Please continue to pray for our family. We plan to start a Bible study in Taos, and hopefully in the summer we will have a tent meeting to preach the Gospel as the old timers did in years past. We are praying that God would send His Power in such a way that we know that God was in control. One of our current means to spread the Gospel is to send a postcards to every home in the county of Taos. Some communities only have P.O. Boxes, because one needs a 4x wheel drive vehicle to reach their homes. Other communities are unreceptive to outside people. With the current circumstances, we want to send out 10,000 postcards with contact info and the Gospel on the back. With prayer, we hope that people would be saved as a result of the postcards and that they open their homes to our family. If their homes would be oped to us, then we can begin discipling the people, and eventually start a Bible study, with the goal of establishing a local church in the community. I am able to purchase 10,000 postcards for $300.00 (not including shipping). This card will be full color on both sides! Please pray that we can purchase these cards ASAP.
We are going to be in a few churches this year, but not many, as we are beginning to labor in Taos. That means we will not be raising much support after April. Please pray that God will raise up churches to see the need in Taos, and commit to supporting our family. I will be taking up a part time job, so please pray that God will supply a job that will be able to meet our family needs and be flexible to meet the needs of our ministry.
